Faruq M&E Consultants is a leading fire safety and electrical safety design consulting firms in Bangladesh. In August 2019, they have prepared a fire safety plan and floor-wise firefighting plan of the newly built prestigious B2+G+13 storied Head Office building of the Bangladesh Postal Department at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, Dhaka. The total floor area of the building is 190,540 sft.
The building has a unique design of a traditional red color postal box reflecting almost two hundred years of tradition of using postal drop boxes across the country.
The building Fire Safety Plan and floor-wise Firefighting Design were approved by the Fire Service & Civil Defense (FSCD) Dire0ctorate on September 01, 2019.
